How Does RED BASKET Collect Information?
If you choose to create an account with Red Basket, you will be asked to select a username and password and to provide certain personal information such as first name, last name, and email address. This information will not be shared with the general public without your consent. You will also have the opportunity to establish a public profile page. Askers creating a public profile page will be required to provide information related to the proposal ("Ask"). The Asker's public profile will be viewable by the general public. If you choose to make a donation, personal information will be collected from you in order to process that donation. The donor may choose to create a public profile page (display name, location, short biography, projects donated to etc.). If the donor does not want to create a public profile page or otherwise share this information, they may choose to make a donation anonymously. If the donor chooses to be anonymous, only an anonymous avatar and name will be displayed. A Trusted Partner or Advocate may choose to create a public profile page or choose to be anonymous.
Red Basket also collects information volunteered by the visitor when you participate in other activities on the Site, such as purchasing or redeeming a gift card and requesting email newsletters and/or contacting us through one or more of our contact email addresses.
