The staff and educators at Baxter Primary School are dedicated to enriching the lives of young students. They work diligently to provide a great experience for students and enhance their learning inside the classroom. The district believes that all students are valued individuals who can learn and succeed.
In 2016, Baxter Primary and Baxter Elementary Schools separated into two different buildings. This decision was made to provide a greater learning environment for students. However, the primary school is using equipment that is meant for the elementary students in the library. “As a primary school, the furniture in the library is too large for our students. We house pre-kindergarten through first grade and the current furniture is for upper elementary students,” said PTO president, Krystal Howard. Throughout the year, the library has held book fairs, received community grants, and donations from clubs and groups to help fund the new furnishings. However, due to the high cost of new chairs and tables, the library is in need of extra funds to get the proper furniture for students.
Baxter Primary School hopes to raise $2,135 through RedBasket.org to purchase tables and chairs that fit the recommendations for pre-kindergarten to first grade students. Raising these funds will make a difference in young children’s lives for years to come. Donate and share Baxter Primary School’s campaign today!
