Serve2Serve is an organization that does just what their name says: serves the community. They are a group of volunteers who work to serve those impacted by natural disasters.
With all of the devastation seen throughout southern Texas, many individuals and families are still recovering from the destruction caused by Hurricane Harvey. Due to extreme flooding, an abundance of people were displaced from their homes. Some are blessed to have family to stay with during this time; however, others are not as fortunate.
As families return to their homes, Serve2Serve is working to place food in their fridges, pantries, and put together food packages to help feed families in need. This takes a heavy burden off families with small children who have been so devastated by damage to their homes. The dedicated volunteers have been working tirelessly to help those in rural, southeast Texas throughout this disaster. To continue helping as many people as they can, Serve2Serve is in need of funds to purchase food.
Serve2Serve hopes to raise $5,000 through RedBasket.org to purchase food to give to victims of Hurricane Harvey. “The needs left behind from Hurricane Harvey are overwhelming in our rural Texas communities,” said organizer, Chance Graham. Raising these funds would allow the organization to make a difference in the lives of those who have lost so much. By making a tax-deductible donation, you can help make an impact in the lives of those who have been devastated by the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. Donate and share Serve2Serve’s story today!
